Set up Minzo, scan your first product and add the ones that are missing.
Getting Started
Welcome to Minzo! Here's how to begin:
1.
Create an account with email, Google or Apple.
2.
Choose your country and language.
3.
Allow camera access when asked — it's needed to scan barcodes.
4.
Scan your first product from the Scan tab.
•
The tabs: Explore, Health, Scan, Products and Account.
•
Set up your alerts (allergens, palm oil, additives, score goals) in Account so Minzo can warn you.
Scanning Products
Point the camera at a barcode and Minzo does the rest.
1.
Open the Scan tab.
2.
Hold the barcode inside the frame — it's read automatically.
3.
A product card shows its scores and key information.
4.
Open the card for full details: nutrients, ingredients, additives, alerts and alternatives.

New product? Minzo AI searches the web for it — this can take a few seconds.
•
From the product card you can add the product to favorites or your basket, or compare it.
•
Every scan is saved to your History.
•
Good light and a flat barcode help.
Contributing Products
Missing product? Help everyone by adding photos.
1.
If a product can't be found, tap Contribute.
2.
Take a photo of the front of the package.
3.
Take a photo of the back (nutrition table and ingredients).
4.
Check the photos and tap Submit.

Use good light and keep the text sharp.
•
We review contributions before adding them.
•
Contributions help other users find the product.
•
